Many walking options are available in the land
of 3000 lakes, however many other options exist within this spectacular fishery.
The gravel road leading into The 19 Lagoons area is well formed with some of the lakes either
next to the road or only a short walking distance from where you park the car.
All we can say is the fishing is brilliant and numerous opportunities are available
throughout the season. Early season trips to the area can produce a four-pound browns
caught on the first cast by wading through the flooded marshlands looking for fish
gorging themselves in the shallows.
During the "dry" season the hatches and the polaroiding opportunities in the area are phenomenal.
Late season First and Second Lagoon produce trophy size browns that come out of ankle deep water.
On the last day of our brown season, you can catch fish from Lake Ada without even leaving the boat ramp.
Even in heavy snow with the temperature
a cool minus 5 degrees the fishing can be brilliant. We would suggest you could spend a full season fishing this area and
fail to run out of challenges or enjoyment.
