This huge water is open all year round and holds both rainbows and browns. Over recent years the water levels have been low which has had little effect on the fishing, apart from the inconvenience of launching your boat. The lake and its surrounds continue to ever increasingly look like a big baron crater. The lake presents an array of different fishing methods that can be adapted to the season and weather. This lake very rarely lets you down with constant brilliant fly-fishing. Wind lane and sight fishing out of a boat are fishing highlights.
