Two waters synonymise with Tasmanian fly-fishing. For visitors who have read about Tasmanian's fly-fishing and are aware of its history these waters are a "must fish". Both waters display different characteristics and should be fished differently depending on time of year and weather. For instance we do not recommend fishing Penstock Lagoon on a bright cloudless sunny day nor do we hold the water in the highest regard in early season. In recent season we have, however, been very successful at Little Pine early, especially fishing a particularly shore that provides shelter from cold southerly winds.
